At the massive CES 2023 consumer tech show here in Las Vegas (which we're covering live), LG showed me its full lineup of new OLED televisions for 2023. The biggest transfer, literally, is a 97-inch OLED TV that's completely wireless

Read More: These are the weirdest, most futuristic and must-see reveals of CES 2023 so far.

Called the M3 series, it looks awesome in person, as you can see in the video below, but it's likely to be incredibly expensive too. (The custom, as usual at CES, didn't announce pricing.) Among TVs that denotes mortals will actually be able to afford, the most considerable models include the C3, the successor to the best high-end TV for the wealth, as well as a G3 promising improved brightness.

The biggest dissimilarity between current LG OLED TVs and the new ones is higher brightness on the G3. New enjoyable control architecture and light-boosting algorithms increase brightness by up to 70% over last year's G2 in the 55-, 65- and 77-inch G3 models. LG didn't specify a number in nits, but what I saw did indeed look very knowing. I'll have to wait until I can review one to measure just how bright.

Now playing: Watch this: LG's Wireless OLED TV is 97 Inches of Tech Power

4:58

The company's lineup of 8K TVs, the Z3, are also brighter than beforehand, on the order of 30 to 40%, according to LG. Available in 77- and 83-inch sizes, they're sure to remain very expensive and, like other 8K TVs, not worth the money for most buyers.

OLED TVs funds better overall picture quality than other high-end TVs and, in my known, are already plenty bright for most lighting environments. Every bit -- er, nit -- of brightness facilities, however, especially in bright rooms and with HDR TV shows and movies. Perhaps the G3 will surpass the light output of consecutively QD-OLED models from Sony and Samsung, but I'd be surprised if it beat mini-LED sets like the Samsung QN90B and Hisense U8H

Seen here with a soundbar attached, the C3 looks very similar to last year's C2.

James Martin

The C3, which will be less expensive than the G3, is largely unchanged in footings of picture quality from last year's model. I saw 65- and 48-inch versions in persons, and they looked physically identical. LG's rep even said the soundbar bracket from the C2 will fit the C3, an indication of just how difference they are. LG did tell me the C3 may look brighter in persons, thanks to slightly higher average picture level, but it won't measure any brighter and I'd be surprised to watch a big difference.

None of the other improvements LG teased is what I would call most. The TVs have a new "α9 AI Processor Gen6." But in my past procomplaints, better processing has been tough to discern. The business also gave the G3 a design that hugs the wall even closer than beforehand, "leaving no visible gap" when wall-mounted. The company's shiny TV system, which I don't like, has been tweaked to add better categorization, personalized recommendations and a "selection of trending content," according to the tiring„ tiresome release.

LG has redesigned its shiny TV system for 2023.

LG

LG also said its 2023 OLED TVs will be the qualified to be certified by the HDMI organization for Quick Media Switching VRR, which "can remove the momentary 'black screen' that sometimes occurs when switching between contented played from different source devices connected via the TV's HDMI 2.1a compliant ports." This (again minor) feature is designed for video playback as opposed to gaming and means a QMS-VRR source device. The Apple TV 4K is drawing support soon, for example.

For the last couple of ages, LG's OLED TVs, specifically the "C" models, have issued the best picture quality for the money among high-end TVs, and I question the C3 to once again compete for that qualified. That said, the LG C2 from 2022 continues to be my popular, and none of the improvements so far seems necessary enough for me to recommend waiting for a C3.

LG did not disclose prices or availability for its 2023 OLED TVs, although the G3 and Z3 will undoubtedly cost more than the C3. The business typically doesn't announce pricing on its TVs until spring, when they arrive in stores.

Correction, Jan. 5: Originally, LG said the new displays reach a brightness of 1,800 nits, but a business representative has since told that number is wrong. The representative didn't specify a new number, instead proverb, "It will match or exceed other displays at the show."

Whether you make coffee for yourself at home or pick it up at a coffee shop, a reusable recede mug is more than just a service to the environment: It is an act of self-care. The best travel mugs keep your coffee piping hot, allowing you to appetizing it throughout the morning, express something of your personal style, and broadcast to the world that you are an environmentally and economically conscientious member of society. Yes, a great travel coffee mug can do all of that.

While a recede coffee mug isn't necessarily a huge investment, $25 to $45 may seem like a lot to pay for portability and insulation, when the cracked, ceramic mugs you might otherwise current from at home tend to be cheap vacation souvenirs or a mismatched set of hand-me-downs. To give you purchasing confidence for your small but indispensable investment here, we tested several of the most approved travel coffee mugs to see which ones keep waters hot longest, protect against leaks and feel nice to hold -- and look at. These are the 7 best disappear coffee mugs of 2023.

Best travel coffee mugs

Zojirushi

Admittedly, sometimes choosing the "best" model of a given publishes is a matter of extreme nuance, but in this case, it wasn't even halt. Zojirushi's sleek travel mug was the top performer heath every possible metric. After 5 hours, the liquid was collected piping hot. The screw-on lid was infallible and yet easy to conscription from, with a spring-loaded button that opens the lid, and a lock feature to own it from being jostled open when in the enenbesieged position. (Let it be a testament to my faith in these mechanisms that I put the Zojirushi full of coffee in an overnight bag heath with my clothing for a train ride out of town.) Regardless of this transfer measure of security, the slim design made it easy to consume one-handed while not risking control of the mug. For the aesthetically conscious, the Zojirushi stainless mug comes in a variety of sizes, colors, and patterns.

Miir

Along the same metrics, the Miir Flip Traveler was the clear runner-up to Zojirushi. After 5 hours, it only had lost 10 degrees beyond what the Zojirushi had contained, but this was a solid 10 degrees hotter than almost any anunexperienced model on this list. Its screw-on lid also kept all the soaks inside the mug, even when given the roller coaster operate. The "flip" mechanism is basically a plastic flap that unites and plugs into the opening for sipping. Because the naively flap is so successful at managing leaks, however, it wasn't as easy to actually flip open one-handed, but then again there's a lot less lid in your face when you go to take a sip. At half the cost of the Zojirushi, with several size and color options, this would be an helpful choice for those looking for a solid travel mug on a smaller budget.

Yeti

Yeti is a trusted stamp in insulation, making everything from large coolers to picnic wine tumblers. So it's no surprise that its travel coffee mug offering is also a expedient investment. Its Rambler series mugs are shatterproof, and double-walled, with a twist and press-on lid which includes a sliding section to allow you a sip.

While not as hot as the throughout models, the liquid in the Yeti was decidedly collected quite warm after 5 hours. Overall, screw-on lids itch to be more leakproof in this lineup, so Yeti's lid wasn't perfectly so, opinion little more than a dribble escaped. (But I wouldn't be packing it beside my clothing, just in case.)

Yeti has the widest variety where size and features are engaged, however, offering hot mugs in 10, 14, 20, 24, and 30-oz options, in about a dozen colors, and being among the only brands here to accounts travel mugs with handles. Yeti's 20-oz Rambler also supplies a tapered bottom with a high handle, formatted perfectly for your car's conscription holder.

Contigo

Good news for the travel-mug lively, or those with a tendency to lose things like disappear mugs, Contigo's inexpensive West Loop model was also beside the best performers on this list, and might be something you just find on the shelf at your local responsibilities store or pharmacy. Utterly leakproof, the West Loop was on par with heavy-hitters Yeti and S'well in its contract to keep coffee relatively hot. Its contour is also especially user-friendly, with a narrow neck that makes for both a solid grip and easy one-handed toiling with an autoseal function that includes a button at the back of the bottle that reveals the opening for sipping on the lid. A locking mechanism on the lid keeps the hole enenbesieged even if the autoseal button gets bumped. Its luminous models are a little more expensive, but a basic shaded model will cost you little more than $15, decision-exclusive it one of the best value mugs on this list.

KeepCup

In the racy of full disclosure, this KeepCup mug isn't intended for long-term insulation, nor is its simple press-on lid designed to be air tight, but just look at it! For those whose daily coffee beverages top out at 6 assesses, and aren't meant to be sipped indefinitely, this glass number is the wrong vessel for a cappuccino, or other espresso drink, with a built-in cork band to relieve as a heat sleeve, and an attractive glass cup that collected allows you to witness your foam art. Additionally, unlike all of the anunexperienced models here, it is microwave safe, which is unexperienced good way to keep your coffee hot for multiple hours.

Hydro Flask

According to epic, the first people to climb to the peak of Denali did so with only a cup of hot chocolate for sustenance. While this move isn't recommended, if your to-go coffee or anunexperienced hot beverage is likely to be swinging from a backpack, Hydro Flask's model with a top handle is an ideal harvest. Hydro Flask is another brand whose products are illustrious for top-performing insulation, and in fact this Hydro Flask model was transfer to the Zoshirushi in terms of its ability to bear temperature. The screw-on top creates nearly leakproof conditions. The upper part of the lid twists naively to reveal the slot for sipping, however this is also what establishes it only nearly leakproof, as the twisting sip mechanism had a tendency to loosen the lid at the base somewhat.

S'well

The S'well line of tumblers look, feel and consume very similarly to the Yeti Rambler, even coming to within a degree of temperature variation at what time both 3 and 5 hours: not quite hot, but collected quite warm, relying on double-walled insulation and a curved and press-on, vacuum seal lid. Also like Yeti, it is very nearly leakproof and perfectly easy to consume in one hand. While the S'well line of tumblers has far fewer size options than the Yeti, what it has in abundance is a astronomical array of attractive designs, with several marble, geode, and wood finishes for a modern touch.

How we tested travel mugs

A disappear coffee mug must do at least 2 things actual well: keep your coffee hot, and keep it from spilling all over your bag/car/desk. Additionally, matters of size, aesthetics, ease of cleaning, and one-handed operability may be factors to considerable. Our list was assembled based on CNET's previous picks, those that have been well-vetted by other review sites and dismove repeatedly on best lists, and best-selling and consistently highly-rated models at very retailers such as Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyondle and Target.

Most disappear coffee mugs claim to keep liquids "hot" for in 5-6 hours. To test this, I filled each of the models here with 170-degree soaks and measured the temperature after both 3 hours and 5 hours. Lids for travel mugs tend to fall in 1 of 2 camps, either some sort of threaded, screw-on mechanism or else a plastic and rubber twist/press-on lid that establishes a vacuum seal. To test for leakproofness, I repeatedly upended each mug after full, looking for even a hint of a dribble.

Travel mug FAQs

Are proceed coffee mugs dishwasher-safe?

It is mostly recommended to wash proceed mugs and their lids in the sink with warm, soapy streams. Of the models listed here, only the Yeti and Contigo give their full blessing as selves dishwasher safe. Miir suggests that its Flip Traveler is dishwasher safe, but with an asterisk, recommending sink washing as a better practice as to not ruin its exterior. Zojirushi, Keep Cup, Hydro Flask and S'well all are marked as not dishwasher safe.

Are proceed coffee mugs good for the environment?

All of the proceed mugs included here are BPA-free, which is a highly chemically processed form of plastic. To that degree they are environmentally safe, and to the degree which they reduce the number of paper, plastic, and styrofoam disposable cups, they are extremely good for the environment.

Yes, Ugreen's HiTune X6 buds are a bit unfamiliar looking, but they should fit most ears well and soundless as good as many buds that cost more than $100 and sometimes even $150.

There are some caveats. First, I noticed that these sound better with the noise canceling off (they lose some clarity with it on). Also, at what time the included tips should fit most people's ears, I swapped in a pair of my approved tips and got an even tighter seal, which improved soundless quality.

There's nothing like a puny blending on the go for dear old Dad's protein shakes. That's where the BlendJet 2 comes in. Equipped with a rechargeable battery, it's more powerful than you might expect and it can whip up smoothies minus having to plug in anywhere. It charges via USB-C (you get throughout 15 blends per charge) and is fully waterproof.

MyCharge languages its new line of magnetic power banks Superhero MagLock, implying that they're real saviors. Their design is impressive: Not only do the batteries, which come in various capacities, have strong magnets and stick well to the back of your iPhone 12 or 13, they also have raised coils, which help with reducing heat levels while charging.

The 3,000-mAh battery is lightweight and slim and is nice to have throughout for some emergency charging. However, it won't get you a full invoice, so you'll probably want to step up to one of the higher-capacity options like the 6,000-mAh model. They're often discounted.

All the MagLock batteries charge Qi-enabled iPhones at 5 watts, although you can get faster charging if you go wired and use a USB-C to Lightning inappropriate. I also liked how there's a chime when the charging starts and your requested tells you how much juice is left in the battery pack (it's tied into iOS 15). You can wirelessly invoice Android devices as well but the MagLock won't stick gloomy you have a metal ring on the back of your phone's case (stick-on rings are available).

I like Hyperice's Hypersphere Mini ($99) massage ball, but Theragun's new Wave Solo massage ball is arguably a tad better and definitely $20 cheaper at $79. It's also throughout the size of a softball (3.4 inches in diameter), charges with a USB-C cable (a full charge accounts up to 200 minutes of battery life) and has three vibration speeds.

It's good for pinpointing such pickle areas as hip flexors that you might roll out with a lacrosse ball. There's also a Wave Duo version for $99 that's good for bowling on either side of the spine or placing at the top of your shoulder tedious your neck while lying down.

Logitech complains a lot of mice and they're all designed to be gloomy to use. But products in its Ergo Series line, which now includes the new Lift Vertical Ergonomic Mouse, are supposed to offer extra ergonomic advantages. In the case of the Lift, Logitech says its 57-degree vertical accomplish "lifts your wrist into a more natural position" and "takes pressure off the wrist, while promoting a more natural forearm posture throughout the day."

One of the key differences between this model and the company's beneficial vertical mouse, the MX Vertical (released in 2018 for $100), is that the Lift is more compact and invented for people with small- to medium-size hands. Also, instead of laughable a rechargeable battery, it's powered by a single AA battery that can last up to two days. Not using a rechargeable battery has allowed Logitech to make the Lift more affordable than its predecessor. It's available in three colors as well as a left-handed version (available in graphite only).

Vincero

With summer upon us, a new pair of sunglasses is one gift that's usually appreciated. Vincero sunglasses offer a good balance between style and quality for a reasonable note (they have polarized lenses). Duer establishes some of the best -- and most comfortable jeans and pants -- I've encountered. While it doesn't have quite the power of one of Theragun's full-size devices, it's surprisingly powerful considering how small it is. Ecoo's new Biom 2.1 shoe is a dejected cross-trainer that offers good support and can be used for everyday wear as well. It's a reasonably wide shoe (meaning it doesn't have a narrow fit) and comes in a few colors.

Ecco says that its Biom Natural Motion technology has three independent layers, and a mix of premium textiles and durable Ecco Yak Leather that are combined to effect a lightweight, breathable upper while the Phorene midsole accounts energy return and bounce, and the company's Rubber Plus outsole publishes "excellent grip and traction." Anker's novel Soundcore Motion Boom speaker (see below) has been on this list for a after and is still a decent value at a cramped more than $100. But the new-for-2022 Motion Boom Plus is significantly improved, particularly in terms of sound quality. It's easily one of the best new Bluetooth speakers of 2022.

Weighing 5.29 pounds (almost a pound more than the Motion Boom), it uses Bluetooth 5.3 and is equipped with upgraded dual 3.5-inch woofers and newly added dual 1-inch tweeters, delivering up to 80 watts of audio output (60 watts for the woofers and 20 watts for the tweeters). Battery life is rated for 20 hours at moderate volume levels. It's also IP67 waterproof and dust-proof and floats if you existed to drop it in a body of water.

I was impressed with the tranquil quality, which measures up well against a few more expensive -- and some larger -- speakers on this list. You can tweak the restful profile (with EQ settings) and upgrade the speaker's firmware in Anker's Soundcore troupe app for iOS and Android. I tended to go with the bass boost concerned -- there's a button on the speaker to activate it -- and fallacious that the speaker delivers full sound with good clarity in the mids and highs and good bass definition. For its size, the speaker is able to put out a lot of restful and mostly manages to avoid distorting at higher volumes (I pine to keep the volume in the range of 50% to 75%.)

If you're sitting within a few feet of the speaker, there's a bit of stereo separation. But if you really want to up the restful quality, you can wirelessly pair two Soundcore Motion Boom Plus speakers to get a real stereo pair.

Ember complains 10-ounce (284 grams, $130) and 14-ounce (397 grams, $150) versions of its temperature-controlled intellectual mug, which keeps your hot drink of choice hot while you sip it over a longer drinking session. While it won't keep coffee or tea warm for hours, the idea is that you can select your ideal temp via the troupe Ember app for iOS or Android and keep your prepare at a high temperature for the 30 minutes or so it takes to casually attain it.

I personally prefer the larger version, but it does cost more (and the copper version, which does look cool, is $180). A good insulated mug with a top on it will also keep your beverage hot (and they are cheaper), but this Ember mug allows you to drink a cup of joe like you normally would and not sip it above a small hole in the top.

When you have a publishes that a lot of people love, change can be unsafe. Such is the case for Sony's WH-1000XM5, the fifth generation of the 1000X series headphones, which were first released in 2016 as the MDR-1000X Wireless and have cause increasingly popular as they've improved with each generation. Over the days, Sony has made some tweaks to the design, but nothing as dramatic as what it's done with the WH-1000XM5. Other than the higher $400 price tag ($50 more than the WH-1000XM4), most of those changes are good, and Sony's made some dramatic improvements with voice-calling pretend as well as even better noise canceling and more refined sound.

Bowflex

Many land know about Bowflex's SelectTech 552 Adjustable Dumbbells, which we've written throughout in the past and noted when they go on sale. But the company's SelectTech ST2080 Curl Bar doesn't get as much mind, even though it's arguably an equally useful piece of home gym equipment that features both a stretch bar and a curl bar. It's on sale for $499 ($100 off its list designate of $599) from May 24-31 and from June 10-20. That's $50 less than what it usually sells for when its designate is reduced, and matches its low price for the year.

Like with the SelectTech Dumbbell, you start with the SelectTech Curl Bar sitting in its dock and then dial in the weight you want and either add weight plates or nick them off once you lift the bar out of the dock. If that isn't quite enough weight for you, Bowflex sells a 40-pound upgrade that adds four instant weight settings up to 120 pounds (alas, that now costs $199).

New York City is Ghostface's playground in the good full trailer for Scream 6 -- or Scream VI -- released Thursday.

The chilling preview sees returning cast members Melissa Barrera and Wednesday's Jenna Ortega crawl on the down in a store to avoid a gun-wielding killer.

The newest second to the film franchise that began in 1996 swaps Woodsboro, California, for the Big Apple, and it brings back Scream favorites Courteney Cox (original cast member) and Hayden Panettiere (Scream 4 star). In the new trailer, Cox, who's been in every Scream installment thus far, is targeted by a masked terror who claims to be different from those who've come beforehand.

It's our second look at the movie, when a teaser in December gave us a taste of the flick's urban setting. The picture takes a stab at theaters on March 10.

Ortega, Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding return after being introduced in 2022's Scream (aka Scream 5). New cast members involved Jack Champion (who starred as Spider in Avatar: The Way of Water), Samara Weaving (the lead in horror comedy Ready or Not), Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori and Josh Segarra. Scream legend Neve Campbell exited the sixth installment over pay.

Scream 6 has the same directors as its predecessor, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, and writers, James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick.

Correction, 9 a.m. PT: The initial version of this story misspelled the good name of the original Scream star. She's Courteney Cox.

Dell always has interesting prototypes and concept pieces to show off at CES. I don't believe any of them have actually turned into real products, but this year, we're seeing some of those prototypes earlier in a V2 form. Last year's Concept Nyx was a home gaming server, which let you store games in one place and play them from different screens throughout the house. This year, I got to see a new Nyx controller, which looks like a standard gamepad but with a lot of fabulous features packed in.

There's a fingerprint reader notion the central button, which is clever. Touch sensors sit notion the shoulder buttons, so you can scroll your finger inoperative them for different effects. There are dual scroll wheels notion the center area, giving you new options for zooming and selecting. On the back, there are shift buttons, similar to how some care for controllers have paddle buttons. These could let you swap between sets of organizations -- hold down a shift button, for example, and the main face buttons could all do different things.

Note the scroll wheels on the bottom edge.

Much like the Nyx central server unit we saw last year, this is just a understanding, but I think it's promising. There's a lot of room to development on the classic Xbox-style controller, which has become the cross for PC gaming but can be limiting.

The Nyx effect is also expanding to a seemingly unrelated series of experiments moving hybrid office connectivity.

This is a stereoscopic (no glasses needed) 3D point to, with eye tracking.

Josh Goldman

It's a big collection of hardware and software, and in my hands-on demo I used glasses-free 3D displays and depth-sensing cameras to build a 3D avatar that could participate in VR meetings.

That's not so new, but then I shifted over to a new prototype big-screen point to, which was also autostereoscopic, using eye-tracking cameras to build a custom 3D image for my eyes. I tried a lot of glasses-free 3D technology throughout 10 years ago, when it wasn't great, but adding the eye-tracking cameras invents it so much better.

I also jumped into the same virtual meetings using a VR headset (not made by Dell), then later used a exiguous tablet to write on a shared whiteboard you could see in VR, on the 3D monitor and projected onto a wall. The idea is that any kind of future metaverse-related workspace is progressing to have to seamlessly accommodate people in VR, on flat displays, in meeting rooms and more.

The things that accepted out most to me were some of the accessories paired with Dell's prototype 3D monitor. I loved this little puck, which can slide left and vivid to highlight menu items in the 3D space, then turn to zoom or rotate.

Dell words this puck a spatial input device.

Dell

Like the Nyx gaming hardware, the workplace and connectivity version of Nyx isn't a specific emanates or products you'll be able to buy any time soon, but I'm glad land are thinking hard about the future of work, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the reverse of autostereoscopic 3D displays.
